These cover what you get from RankGoat, what we expect from you, and what happens when something goes wrong. Using the site or the app means you agree to them.

What RankGoat does

We write blog posts for your site and publish them, and we place dofollow links to your site inside posts published on other members' sites. Links are non-reciprocal and matched by niche and Domain Rating. You pay per site, per month.

Your account

• Give us a real email address and keep it current. It's how we send you posts to approve.
• Only add domains you own or control. If you add someone else's site, we'll remove it.
• You're responsible for what happens under your account, including any API keys you create.
• One person per account. Don't share sign-in links.

Paying

• Subscriptions are per site, billed monthly or annually, and renew automatically until you cancel.
• Each cycle grants a credit allotment. Subscription credits reset at the start of each cycle and don't roll over. Credits you buy in a pack don't expire while your subscription is active. Spending draws on subscription credits first.
• Prices can change. If they do, we'll tell you before it hits your renewal, and the price you're on holds until then.
• Cancel any time from Settings > Billing. Your site keeps running until the end of the period you've paid for.

What we promise, and what we don't

We promise to write and deliver the posts your plan pays for, and to keep building links to your site while your subscription is active.

We can't promise rankings, traffic, revenue, or a Domain Rating number. Nobody can, and anyone who does is selling you something. Google decides what ranks. What we control is the work: real posts on real sites with real dofollow links, monitored so they stay live.

The link network

• Joining the exchange needs a review. Paying activates your site immediately; review only gates whether you take part in link exchange, in both directions.
• We can decline or remove a site from the network. Typical reasons: adult, gambling, illegal or hateful content, private blog networks, link farms, malware, scraped or mirrored content, or a site that's broken.
• Links we place in posts on your site must stay live and dofollow. We check daily. If a link disappears or turns nofollow past the grace period, we reroute the placement and reverse the points earned for it.
• Cancelling doesn't retroactively strip links already published. Posts already on your site are yours to keep, and links already pointing at you stay where they are.

The content we write

• Posts are generated with AI from a brief you can see and edit before anything is written.
• Once a post is published, it's yours. Edit it, rewrite it, delete it.
• You approve posts before they go live. Review them. You're the publisher, and you're responsible for what appears on your site.
• Don't ask us to generate content that's illegal, defamatory, or infringes somebody's copyright.

Fair use of the free tools

The free tools are rate-limited. Don't script them, resell them, or use them as a proxy to fetch other people's sites at volume. We'll block you.

Suspension

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the network, or charges back a legitimate payment. If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused part of what you've paid.

Liability

RankGoat is provided as-is. We're not liable for lost rankings, lost traffic, lost revenue, or anything a search engine decides to do. Where liability can't be excluded, it's capped at what you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Changes

We'll update these when the product changes, and update the date at the top. Significant changes get an email.
